Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands Bridge Link Is OPEN!

April 25, 2010 Leave a comment

Last night, April 24, 2010, was the opening of the Marina Bay Sands Bridge Link.  A portion of the bridge was opened to the public.

Dancers entertained all visitors along the bridge and the lights changes from green to blue and yellow to red.  That was a nice view on a clear evening sky.

The fireworks was lit just around 8pm illuminating the ship on top of the three buildings and it’s spectacular.  An estimate of 1000 people visited Marina to see each and every corner of the bridge.

This picture was taken at the bridge entrance.

You Are Our Hope, NOY! – Vilma Santos

April 24, 2010 Leave a comment

I just woke up early this morning, opened my Facebook page and saw this 43 -second video clip from Vilma Santos.

Knowing that she is honest in politics and no string attached with other “politikos”, I knew that she is sincerely saying these things as a support for Noynoy Aquino.

With those black propaganda against Noynoy, the Hacienda Luisita story, there are no other issues that might be thrown against him and no other than “He’s Gay!” or “He’s Abnoy!”.

Be a responsible voter…Think, think, and think.

Your votes are not FOR SALE!!!

Our President Needs a Salary Upgrade?

April 23, 2010 Leave a comment

I wonder why Singapore has the best transportation system and nice place to work and live in.  The climate are almost the same with the Philippines, less the typhoons and earthquakes.

Philippines is rich in natural resources, that proves the existence of mines allover the archipelago.

Got a chance to chat with a Singaporean and I did get a lot of information about their country.  He said that the problem in the Philippines is firstly, corruption inside the government and crawling down to the private level.  Don’t raise your eyebrows, this is the FACT.

Why do we have corruption? It is because of the low salary grade  of government officials.  Why?

The salary of the President in the Philippines, leading the whole 7,000 + island into one nation, minding all difficult tasks in every Departments, is just merely  Php 63,525 a month.  Then a businessman offers the President, millions of dollars as a token of appreciation.  Do you think the President will not take this offer?

Do you know how much the Prime Minister of Singapore receives in a month?  An equivalent of PHP 3,000,000.00!

Now I asked him again. Is it the attitude or the salary grade?

Whatever it is, we don’t need a good President, but an HONEST one!

How I Got 3,000 Subscribers In Just One Day?

April 1, 2010 Leave a comment

There are so many blogs about how to get money online.  Some even has photos of checks all over their site, just to let people know that they earned it through internet and they did it in just a day or few weeks.

I wondered how do they do that. But, isn’t it obvious that it would not happen in a day?

My stats for the first week, talking about the subscribers, it has just been in the 1oth digit.  I was used to it and giving some of them few welcoming words and few thank you notes.

One of my posts got my attention, it was all about politics.  After few minutes of posting, got 6,000 views and 3,000 subscribers.  I can’t believe it!

Then I realized that today is April 1, 2010.  An April FOOLS DAY everyone!  How I wish this story is true.  *SIGH*
