Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao: Congressman?

Manny Pacquiao running for Congressman

Polical candidates have their own reasons why they’ll run for public posts. Some candidates say that they wanted to help and serve the people.  They will run for congress in order to serve their fellow countrymen…
One of them is the Filipino boxer Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, who is so eager to serve his people in Saranggani province and believes running for Congress is the way to do it.
Being a Congressman, in my opinion, you need to be a lawyer. That is the reason why they are called the “Lawmakers”. Having a high school diploma is a way too difficult for him to make a law.  You need to be familiar with lawmaking.
Serving the people can be done in so many ways.  He can be partners with the government and create a group that is for the people.  He can even have his own foundation to gather money from donations or even share some of his money for the people.  By doing this, he can still attend his boxing matches and trainings.  If he will be in Congress, is he allowed to have another match and do his training during Congressional sessions?  I don’t think so…
